With PRP therapy, we’re able to address a wide variety of hair loss concerns, such as female pattern baldness, alopecia and hair loss that has come about due to scarring or trauma.
The Treatment
PRP therapy (Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy) is a non-surgical method that stimulates the body’s own healing properties. It uses the patient’s own blood to induce the healing process, which in turn, encourages hair growth.
Step 1) Consultation – We will need to establish a picture of your medical background before treatment is carried out. We will also need to ascertain the origin of your hair loss.
Step 2) Preparation – We will take some blood and spin this in a centrifuge, to isolate the platelet-rich plasma, which contains powerful growth forces.
Step 3) Administering the platelets – The platelets are administered to areas where hair loss has occurred.

FAQs
Who is the ideal candidate for PRP Hair Restoration?
PRP hair restoration is designed to strengthen existing active hair follicles. With this in mind, you are an ideal candidate for treatment if you are in the early stages of hair loss. PRP treatment works most effectively within 5 years of onset.
How quickly will I see results?
It takes between 6-12 months to see the full results of treatments, but you’ll start to see results within a couple of months. The time scale will depend on your body’s own individual healing response and how much hair loss has occurred.
How many treatment sessions do I need to attend?
Most people will need 3 PRP treatment sessions 4-6 weeks apart. We recommend maintenance sessions every 4-6 months.
